Career Fair Set for September 24
9/15/2009
Rochester, NY – Hiring companies and job applicants should mark their calendar for Digital Rochester's upcoming Technology Career Fair. The event will take place on Thursday, September 24 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at The DoubleTree Hotel at 1111 Jefferson Road.
Digital Rochester is helping to connect talented people with great jobs in the Rochester region! Despite the economy, we hear daily of people landing in new jobs. We want to bring those employers with openings to a forum where they have the opportunity to engage top-notch professionals in face-to-face conversations. Past participants at the Digital Rochester Career Fair tell us that they meet a caliber of candidate unlike those at any other event. Most importantly, they report that they've hired qualified candidates in a variety of disciplines - not just technology jobs - as a direct result of the event.
Any technology-related company (optics, life science/bio-tech, engineering, manufacturing, alternative energy, software development, IT, telecom and more) that needs to hire technical talent - as well as sales, marketing, finance and operations professionals who understand the tech world - can benefit from this focused audience. If you're not a technology company, but you're looking for IT professionals to keep your computers & network going, or for engineers to help design your next new product, this is the place for you to connect with some of the remarkable talent that's available in our region. These are people exploring the possibilities of making a positive career move - let's reveal the opportunities for growth with your company and together we'll be able to motivate a great turnout for the event. Registration fees are based on company size. A late registration fee applies after September 17th. Find out more about the event at www.digitalrochester.com/careerfair/
